Projeto Querido Alguém

Our mission is to spread love and kindness through writing letters and sending them to those who need it most because we believe that words are a powerful tool for healing and connection.

How does it work? Well, it’s quite simple: Our Project works by connecting institutions in need, such as schools, hospitals, LGBTQIA + shelters, nursing homes, and others, with volunteers who write letters. The Project establishes partnerships - without any costs - with these institutions and collects letters from volunteers either through a PO Box or during Writing Workshops. The letters are then organized and distributed to the respective institutions. Our project ensures that the content of the letters is kind and inclusive, particularly towards groups like the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, our project encourages people to write and distribute letters within the cities by handing them to individuals on the street or leaving them in mailboxes.

We want our project to be a reference and a credible source of inspiration for love and kindness, transforming lives through letter writing, and reaching and touching the hearts of those who need it most.

The values that have guided us in our journey as human beings and as a project are altruism, inclusion, kindness, love, and trust.
